Hi, I'm Anya Moschetti. And Dear Lily is how a degree in Psychology (I also used to be a CPA, but that's a whole other story), a formal floral education, and the need to relieve the stress of motherhood and modern life came together in an actual place in Raleigh... with florals as the way to bring you back to yourself.
To get my floral design education, I went where the best floral designers are.
First, I graduated from New York's finest floral design school. Interned with Bowman Dahl and had a dream come true - floral design for Frick's reopening gala. Next time you are in New York... Include the Frick Gallery in your sightseeing to admire their collection of Vermeers.
Then, my heart led me to Paris. And what can I say... No one designs flowers the way French people do.
And in the end of the day, flowers are just a vehicle. Inner peace, stress relieve, being able to hear your own thoughts despite the electronic clutter of today's life... that's what you'll find at Dear Lily. This is where living well means actually living.
